School RPG — pick a scenario
Three browser-only scenarios from the Wheel and Balance universe. Each is a five-scene card loop: a moment in the world, three choices, a small physics of consequence. Same input always produces the same outcome — no model in the loop, no account, no save server.
The Balance's Trial
13+Regulation, inner balance, accepting cost
“You stand on a bridge in the Realm of the Balance. Both sides call you in different directions; the echo of your choice will reach far.”
The Wheel's Turn
13+Conflict, motion, non-escalation, communication
“In the Wheel Square someone has misunderstood you. The wheel keeps turning; how will you resolve this without stopping the motion?”
The Trace of Lost Time
13+Catching up, small steps, progress without shame
“The Wheel of Time has made you feel left behind. But every small step redraws the trace. Twelve stops, twelve small wins.”

What players practise here
Each scenario is a small fictional space designed to give players room to practise the quiet moves that build emotional resilience. The game does not lecture, score moods, or judge. It opens a situation, offers three honest options, and lets the world respond to what the player chose. The intent is to make the practice feel safe, repeatable, and the player's own.
- Pausing under pressure — naming a feeling before reacting to it (The Balance's Trial).
- Staying in motion through conflict — keeping a misunderstanding from hardening into a fight (The Wheel's Turn).
- Small steps after falling behind — counting what was done rather than what is missing (The Trace of Lost Time).
The preview is a fictional artefact, not advice or a diagnostic. It works alongside, not in place of, the trusted adults already in a young person's life.
